Acai Berry Vitamins

All fruits are rich in vitamins and minerals as well as antioxidants which have been proven to do miracles inside our bodies. But did you know that there are certain fruits which are naturally high in antioxidants and the fruit acacia berry (or acai berry) is one of those.

Acai berry vitamins include:

  • Vitamin C – Vitamin C (mostly known as ascorbic acid) is the best vitamin most needed by our bodies. Ascorbic acid has high levels of antioxidants which are good in fighting off diseases caused by viral infections such as colds, cough and flu. It also strengthens and enhances the immune system of our body.
  • Vitamin D Vitamin D helps in proper bone formation and physical performance. It also reduces the risk of cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
  • Vitamin E Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that stops the productivity of reactive oxygen species formed when fat undergoes oxidation. High amounts of vitamin E were found on acai berries which are proven to help rejuvenate the body skin and improve blood circulation.
  • Vitamin K Vitamin K is good for proper blood circulation and bone metabolism. Vitamin K can be found on certain foods like broccoli, spinach, cabbage, asparagus, and brussels sprouts; aside from acai berries.
