I wish I worked at ALO Drink because I have it in my head that all they get to do is drink ALO all day long, and well, that’s what I’d like to do!
When ALO sent us a bunch of their aloe vera drinks to try out, one of the ones they sent was Awaken.
I loved Awaken because it has wheatgrass in it and I’m one of those people that actually likes the taste of wheatgrass. However, if you don’t like wheatgrass, I am not sure if you would even taste it.
I still like their Exposed the most, but Awaken comes in a close second for me. In my first review of ALO Drinks, I covered the benefits of drinking aloe vera juice.
The ingredients in Awaken include: water, aloe vera juice, aloe vera pulp, wheat grass concentrate, cane sugar, citric acid, vitamin c (absorbic acid)
Nutritional information for 8 oz. of Awaken:
- 100% gluten free
- 0 g of fat
- 0mg of Cholesterol
- 35mg of Sodium
- 15g of total carbs – 15g of those are from sugar
- 0g of protein
- 30% vitamin c
- 4% calcium
You can buy YUMMY ALO Awaken online through Amazon.com for $23.43 for a 12-pk or $1.95 each. You can also sign up and have it delivered to you monthly, and the price for that is $19.92 or $1.66 each. You can also find it at many Whole Foods stores.
Here’s a video I shot of ALO Drink Awaken during the testing process:

I just want to know about how the sugar affects the wheatgrass and aloe?

Could you please tell me the water source and flouride levels as well as ph of the Alo drink . I do enjoy it but these questions are not addressed on the label . I find that questionable .
