Antioxidant Fruits Help Miantioxidant-fruits.commize Age Spots
Unsightly spots on your face is anything but welcome. Age spots, also known as liver spots are often the result of unprotected skin exposed under the sun’s harsh rays, your skin type and even because of your genes. Women aged 50 years old and above often encounter this but it can still affect women aged younger like those in their 20s or 30s.
To reduce its appearance, you may use the following home remedies:
- Get lemons and squeeze them for their juice. With a piece of cotton, dab the acidic juice on your age spots for the next six to eight weeks, once during daytime and another during nighttime. The lemon juice can help lighten that dark spots or help them fade.
- Bilberries or known as myrtle blueberry are smaller than blueberries but gives a richer tangy sweet taste. Squeeze them into juice to drink daily or eat a cup of the fruit to boost your skin with its antioxidant content.
- Rub a slice of onion on them. This has almost the same effect as that of the lemons but with a far stronger smell.
