Beat the Heat With Fruity Sun Teas

Share this post:

There’s nothing better to compliment having fun in the sun than cooling down with a cold, tall glass of sun-brewed iced tea. With a little creativity, enjoying your perfect glass of tea is just a few experiments away. Here are a few ideas to get you started.

Just add fruit-

From the juicy Georgia peach to the tangy blueberry, healthy fruit tea is delicious. Place your tea bags and add the water. After you have brewed your tea, you can take a little frozen fruit, puree it in your blender, and add it to the bottom of your tea jar.

Spice it up-

Many people like spiced teas. Add slices of orange, cinnamon, cloves, and rosehips.

Go green-

Green teas are flavorful and antioxidant rich. Pick your own fruits and add a couple of bags to your black tea bags for extra flavor.

If you are new to making Sun Tea the process is simple.

Get a glass tea jar. This makes for the best tasting Sun Tea.

3-4 Iced Tea sized Tea Bags or 6-8 regular sized, loose or bagged herbal blends are great too.

Fill it up with water.

Place in a sunny area for 2-6 hours- depending on how strong you like it. After brewing, add the fruit. Have fun. See what you like, or what you’re in the mood for.
