PYO Fruit Farm

This Christian community farm produces 50 dozen eggs every week and other fruit and vegetables like potatoes, apples, sweet corn, tomatoes, turnips and more.

This pick your own fruit farm lets you harvest a wide variety of fruits, not just apples. There are also raspberries, cherries, plums, apricots, nectarines, peaches and pears.

You have to become a member of the U-Pick Club before you can go picking strawberries, cherries, raspberries, peaches, apples and occasionally, pumpkins.

Awarded with 4 stars by the Visit Scotland National Tourism Organization, the Cairnie Fruit Farm welcomes 2011 with its “Bee A Hero” theme for the Maize Maze.

From picking apples, making cider from them to a hay ride, there are also popcorn for all to share.Their cider comes in apple, cherry and raspberry flavors.

The Barthel Fruit Farm is one of those pick your own fruit farms that also offers gardening classes and seminars.
