Chinese Lychee Tea
Lychee is a tropical fruit commonly grown in several parts of Asia. The fruit is red in color with a rough skin that can easily be opened. The fruit has a juicy sweet taste. It is approximately 3 cm in diameter and 4 cm long. In most countries where Lychee is grown, the fruit is eaten instantly as it is harvested fresh from the tree. Others make it as a desert mixed with honey. In China, Lychee is believed to be the fruit of love and they make tea out of it.
I had a chance to visit one of the many Tea houses when I had my trip in Shenzhen, China. Lychee tea is one of the many local teas that is freshly made from different tea houses in China. The Chinese believe that tea is the best healthy drink that cleanses our body from toxins. They said that it is a drink for the soul. I tried the Lychee tea myself and it really taste good.
