As more and more people become aware of the dragon fruit, it’s only natural to ask where to buy them. The fruit is grown in Asia and because of this, you can look for an Asian fruit stand or dry market. Countries like Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand export dragon fruit to the U.S.
The 3rd Annual LUCKYRICE Asian Food Festival was recently held in New York showcased exciting dishes and new recipes that aim to prove that there’s more to be enjoyed from your local Asian cuisine.
Four renowned chefs from Hawaii wowed everyone with a menu that lets you partake an explosion of taste and culture with every bite. The venue, Hotel Ganservoot’s rooftop bar, fit the festive occasion. Guests mingled with a dragon fruit cocktail called the Sapphire East Dragon.
If you can’t find any dragon fruit being sold by your neighborhood supermarket or farmer’s market, don’t worry. Recent reports say that you might soon find more dragon fruit distributed in fruit markets because Central America can also export the fruit to U.S. now.
