So if my mouth is watering right now – then you know I thought they were excellent – especially because they are organic fruit snacks! They come in a 4 oz. bag and are a good source of potassium, low in sodium and fat free. There is no refined sugar or sulfites added – rather they are infused with organic apple juice concentrate and then slowly dried, and lightly misted with high oleic organic safflower oil to prevent clumping.
Here are the ingredients:
Montmorency Tart Cherries, Organic Apple Juice Concentrate, Organic Safflower Oil.
One package is about 420 calories. They are Kosher and Organic.
You can eat them by themselves, or you might want to put them in:
- great mix-in to:
- hot oatmeal
- trail mix
- oatmeal chocolate chip cookies
The dried cherries that I’ve seen in the stores have a lot of white sugar or fructose while all the Eden dried fruits are sweetened with fruit juice. I loved, loved, loved this product and will definitely buy more, especially since they are only $7.49 on Amazon.com.
