I originally saw a glass straw on the blog, Oh She Glows, so I asked Angela, of Oh She Glows where it came from…she said Glass D’harma.

We received 4 of their straws:

• 7red  – red “Decorative Dots” – only 6.25″ long
• 9.5X9 -green “Decorative Dots” – 9″ long
• 12X9 SE  – Simple Elegance Smoothie Straw 9″ long
• 9.5BB –  – “Beautiful Bends” 9″ long

Glass Dharma categorizes their straws into three different categories:

• simple elegance
• decorative dots
• beautiful bends

They make their straws in 3 different diameters:

• 14mm – known as Bubble Tea
• 12mm – known as Smoothie
• 9.5mm – known as ice tea
• 7mm – known as sipper

You can buy the straws individually or in sets.  You can even special order a size!  The straws are made of Borosilicate glass is a type of glass having very low thermal expansion, making it resistant to thermal shock, more so than any other common glass.

They also sell accessories and those are:

• Cleaning brushes
• Hemp Sleeves

There are two sizes of cleaning brushes to choose from:

• 3/8″mm brush
• 1/8″mm brush

The cleaning brushes are made of Stainless steel handle with medical grade nylon bristle.

Please note that cleaning brushes do not automatically “come with” all Glass Straw purchases.

I love that they are dishwasher safe – I am all about using my dishwasher to help me get things done.
