Grow Avocados for Your Skin
When the weather becomes cooler, you’ll notice that your skin becomes drier. Other people experience flaky skin and sadly, even acne. The best remedy for dry skin is moisturizers and one of the most effective ingredients for dry skin is avocado.
Avocados contain oleic acid. This is a monounsaturated fat which is a good kind of fat. It lowers your cholesterol level and gives you omega 3 fatty acids which can help keep your skin supple, young and healthy. To add, avocados also contain Vitamin A, Vitamin E and high levels of antioxidants.
You can actually grow your own avocado. This method is only for indoor planting and will rarely bear fruit. Simply take the seed, stick 3 tooth picks to make the seed stand and submerge halfway in a container with water. You should change the water every two weeks to help the seed grow.
You can also put the seed in soil and make sure that the pot gets sunlight indoors to make the avocado tree healthier. If you want your avocado tree to bear fruits, you should buy a grafted seedling.
