Mackintosh Fruit FarmPick your own fruit farms that has the fruit pawpaw in its selection are not common. Located at 1608 Russell Road, Berryville, Virginia, USA, the Mackintosh Fruit Farm is one of those.

The pawpaw belongs to the custard apple family and is a cousin of the soursop. WIth 75% water content, it is rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids and calories.

The Mackintosh Fruit Farm also has apples, nectarines and peaches. The apples come in 6 varieties: Fuji, York, Golden Delicious, Honey Crisp, Gala and Ginger Gold. As for the peaches, there are three varieties of white peaches, donut peaches and yellow peaches. All of them are available for U-pick.

Families can look forward to the annual peach festival on August 6th and other activities hosted by the Mackintosh Fruit Farm like farm dinners and cooking classes.
