This remarkable fruit is making a big name for itself today in the world of herbal medicine. The Morinda Citrofolia popularly known as the Noni fruit grows in Tahiti, Hawaii, India, in the Caribbean, South America and in most parts of the West Indies. It has made quite an excellent reputation in the natural health sector.

The fruit has been known to be used against intestinal worms, constipation and respiratory disorder since the 1930s. The fruit, whether it be dried, juiced and preserved in bottle, has been found to address ailments such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, arthritis, migraines and the dreaded Parkinson’s disease. Though a lot of would be beneficiaries have been fed with wrong data and misled to believe it is a cure-all fruit.

However, research and studies came out with reliable results pertaining to its biological benefits such as it possesses anti-inflammatory properties, strengthens the immune system and is capable of inhibiting tumors. The rich content of scopoletin, eugenol and asperoluside found in the ripe Noni fruit proved these findings. The presence of T- Cells such as thymocytes and macrophages rev-up the immune system as well as regressing tumors.

I absolutely LOVE noni. I get my noni straight from Hawaii. I'm so glad I've found this fruit. I get it in the form of fruit leather and I like to put it in my smoothies in the morning. Its amazing that mother earth can create something so wonderful and healthy!
