90 miles east of New York City, USA, you’ll find one of the pick your own fruit farms in the area named Wickham’s Fruit Farm. It’s exact address is 28700 Route 25, Cutchoge, Long Island, NY. It has over 300 acres of land wherein 200 acres are dedicated to growing fruit.
This fruit picking farm is a bicentennial farm that has a history of providing more than just you-pick fun and treats. The farm also offers tours, field trips and wagon hay rides. The field trip includes bee hive observation, handling of the bees and picnics!
You have to become a member of the U-Pick Club before you can go picking strawberries, cherries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, apples and occasionally, pumpkins. The membership card is good for the member and his extended family. It is valid for one year.
The Wickham’s Fruit Farm also prepares gift boxes, baked goods like donuts, cheeses, pies, preserves and apple cider.
