Open for picnics and events, Wilkens Fruit and Fir Farm is located at 1335 White Hill Road, Yorktown Heights, New York, USA. It is one of those pick your own fruit farms that lets you enjoy harvesting apples and peaches with picking poles and baskets. There’s even a hay wagon ride in the process.
There are 5 varieties for peaches and 2 varieties for nectarines that are ready for picking. Apple varieties also available in this fruit picking farm are Granny Smith, Gala, Ida Red, McIntosh, Fuji, Baldwin, Winesap, Cortland, Empire, Macoun, Crispin, Jonagold, Golden Delicious and Red Delicious. The Wilkens farm also offer pumpkins and Christmas trees for you to choose and pick when in season.
The Wilkens Fruit and Fir Farm can also accommodate groups who wish to simply enjoy a day of picking fruits on a fruit farm. The group tours will be every Friday. You can contact [email protected] for reservations.
